Alan Chenoweth (Director) BAgSc, GDLA, MURP, FAILA, FPLA, MPIA, MAIH, MEIANZ ASLA LI Download Alan's CV Alan is principal of Chenoweth EPLA, a Certified Environmental Practitioner and Registered Landscape Architect, with over 30 years experience in plant sciences, landscape design, conservation and land development, resource assessment and management, community consultation, environmental impacts, visual assessment, park and recreation planning, and generally in the integration of ecological studies with town planning. With qualifications in agricultural science, landscape architecture and planning, expertise in plant ecology, conservation and environmental planning, and a Churchill Fellowship in site planning for social housing, Alan brings a balanced and multi-disciplinary approach to land use and development issues. He has particular expertise in the assessment of conservation significance of remnant vegetation and coastal landscapes, and has won several planning awards for innovative approaches to 'green planning'. He is also an experienced expert witness, having given evidence or prepared reports for more than 130 Planning & Environment Court Appeals, mainly associated with the environmental, visual and open space impacts of development. Alan's tertiary teaching experience includes horticulture, consultation techniques, landscape evaluation and environmental impact assessment and management, he is a regular speaker at professional conferences and seminars, and represents various professional organizations on government panels and advisory committees. Alan is currently on the Certification Board of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (and a SEQ Vice President of EIANZ), and on the Management Committee of Environmental Defenders Office (Qld). He has previously served as President and international representative of Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, Chair of the International Landscape Architecture Alliance (for which he was awarded Honorary Corresponding Membership of the Landscape Institute UK), President of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, chair of Building Design Professions (Qld) and Queensland President of the Royal Australian Institute of Parks and Recreation (now Parks & Leisure Australia). | 
David Francis (Associate) BSc(Hons) MEIANZ Download David's CV David is a botanist with 15 years experience flora studies, vegetation mapping, ecological assessments and revegetation plans. He is an acknowledged expert in highway corridor vegetation management and community consultation/participation in planting projects. He has received several awards for his work with the Department of Main Roads including recognition as a finalist for the Young Australian of the Year in the Environmental Division. In 1999 he organised the Transport Corridor Management Conference in Brisbane. David was a member of Greening Australia Queensland board of management from 2001-03. |

Barnaby Resch (Ecologist/GIS Analyst) BSc (Zoology), Cert IV Project Management Download Barnaby's CV Barnaby is an Ecologist and GIS analyst with 12 years experience across a range of fields. He has worked in the private, public and academic sectors in a variety of environmental and project management roles. His experience includes aquatic and terrestrial flora and fauna surveys, impact assessment, wetland ecology and management, project management, landscape design and construction, design and development of spatial databases and applications, mobile mapping technologies, SQL data querying, GIS and remote sensing for environmental analysis and mapping and nature interpretation. He has a well developed understanding of legislation relevant to environmental planning and development including the Vegetation Management Act 1999, Integrated Planning Act 1997 the Nature Conservation Act 1992 as well as local planning schemes.

Alison Eshelby (Registered Landscape Architect) BBE (Arch), GDLA (Dist) AILA Download Alison's CV Alison is a registered Landscape Acrhitect with professional experience within Australia, England and Scotland. She has worked within both the public and private sector and is also a part-time tutor of Advanced Construction and Professional Practice at QUT. She has been involved in the design and documentation of residential, multi-residential, industrial, commercial, educational, public open space and local improvement schemes. Having studied architecture and landscape architecture at university, Alison places and emphasis on successful integration of creative and functional design, architecture and the environment in order to create meaningful spaces which have positive effects on user groups and communities. | 
Shelley Trevaskis (Senior Ecologist) BSc (AES) Download Shelly's CV Shelley is an Environmental Scientist with skills in fauna surveys, vegetation studies and associated GIS mapping and data presentation, as well as a comprehensive understanding of ecological and environmental management processes. She has four years experience as an ecologist in a multi-disciplinary consultancy, prior to which she worked in coastal bush regeneration on North Stradbroke Island plus a range of voluntary environmental work for Queensland National Parks and Wildlife Service, World Wide Fund for Nature, Greening Australia and Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland. Shelley is also familiar with the requirements of environmental Commonwealth and State legislation, including the Queensland Vegetation Management Act 1999, as well as the various environmental Local Laws of Councils in South East Queensland. | 
Tania Metcher (Graduate Landscape Architect) BBE (Land Arch), BA (Aust Art) Download Tania's CV Tania is a Graduate Landscape Architect currently enrolled in the final year of the Graduate Diploma at QUT (GDLA). Since completing the Bachelor degree in 2001, she has experience at a local government level with Redland Shire Council, and in private practice with Dennis Nichols & Associates. Her experience includes Development Assessment of commercial and multiple-dwelling residential projects, private/public space design including involvement in community art projects, and station auditing and redesign.

Amy Prowd (Graduate Environmental Scientist) BSc (Hons) Download Amy's CV Amy is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Science majoring in Wildlife Biology and Ecology from the University of Queensland. She has also recently completed her honours thesis on the condition indices of the wallabies on South Stradbroke Island. Amy has a particular interest in native Australian fauna.

Monique Howard (Graduate Landscape Architect) GDLA (with Dist), BBE(Land Arch)(with Dist) Download Monique's CV Monique has worked on a number of defence projects, aged-care developments, public and private school projects, public open space projects, local council projects, and, housing developments with an emphasis on ecologically-sensitive design. Prior to joining Chenoweth EPLA, Monique worked for a number of years with a Brisbane-based architectural firm, during which she also assisted in the preparation of a set of landscape design guidelines for Education Queensland. Prior to embarking on a new career in landscape architecture, Monique studied Horticulture and worked in the Banking Industry for 10 years, her last role was as a Dealer in the Financial Markets for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Monique has worked in positions where accuracy, team work, communication, and services provided to clients were crucial to her role and her success. These attributes, along with her landscape architectural experience, flow through to her design work at Chenoweth Environmental Planning and Landscape Architecture where attention to detail is imperative in achieving exceptional outcomes.

Kylie Fry (Graduate Landscape Architect) BBE(Land Arch)(with Dist), AD App Sci(Hort) Download Kylie's CV Kylie is a recently graduated Landscape Architect currently enrolled in the final year of the Graduate Diploma at QUT (GDLA). She brings to this role experience in the field of horticulture, with a particular interest in revegetation and permaculture. Her experiences with permaculture and revegetation showed the value of design and lead her to the profession of Landscape Architecture. Having much involvement with community based organisations; Kylie has a particular interest in the design of sustainable environments, responsive to the human, flora and fauna occupants and their need to coexist.
